Anyone still lurking around here? Just wanted to announce I’m planning on starting a new blog, hopefully putting it up sometime this coming week. I was toying with the idea of doing a direct successor to Me Blog Write Good, going through the entirety of a different show like Futurama or South Park, but I didn’t want to just copy the same formula. So I figured the best idea would be to just have an all-purpose blog where I can review or talk about whatever the hell I want. I plan on doing a full Futurama rewatch, but I will be doing that alongside of other reviews, mostly on animation, but other movies/shows/Internet things could pop in there too. Anyway, just wanted to gauge if this was anything people would be interested in, and if so, what kind of content you’d like to see. I’ll post here again in a few days when the blog goes up.

I still read, and both of those shows are great ones to rewatch.
I’d love to see a new blog. Whatever content strikes your fancy, though a full Futurama rewatch would be gangbusters.
Congratulations on your new blog, Mike. I actually started reading the blog last year and I just went through the later seasons. Your analysis, insight into character development and comparisons to previous episodes, as well as an attention to detail makes Me Blog Write Good one of the best blogs I’ve ever read. The blog has also had a big influence on my writing style, like my own adult animated series which I hope to share with you soon.

I’m a big fan of all of those shows, and I enjoyed the Simpsons/Family Guy crossover a lot more than I should have, but I would be interested in seeing what you would have done differently with it. Anyway, good luck and I’m here to support your new blog as much as I can.
